Designed for coastal monitoring applications the R550NGi is capable of filtering and processing AIS and GNSS data and forwarding it across a network. Multiple R550 Series units can be deployed to form a complete networked monitoring solution for ports and their approaches.

The unit features both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity along with two USB-A host ports and an HDMI connector for direct display output. Unlike conventional receivers the R550NGi can be deployed within any AIS network using proprietary software specific to that network.

Designed for commercial applications the R550NGi incorporates Comar’s proven high-sensitivity dual-channel parallel AIS receiver alongside a commercial-grade GNSS receiver.

The R550NGi from Comar Systems: Quite possibly the most flexible compact and powerful AIS and GNSS receiver available today.

Applications

Shore-based monitoring of shipping by government authorities

Managing vessel traffic at port approaches

Supporting search and rescue operations

Locating vessels for tug supply or security operations

Analysing vessel activity in defined areas

Monitoring fishing zones

Feeding AIS data to vessel tracking websites

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1043/8914/9006/files/119-r550ngi_1_b5f3ccbb-e852-406a-be23-1564e6ae3a14.jpg?v=1780700540
https://southernyachtelectrics.store/products/comar-r550ngi-intelligent-network-ais-receiver-with-wifi-gps
