Fishing advice from Simon Kidd: Catching carp and other coarse fish on the fly is increasingly popular and this selection has been tried and tested on many a carp venue around the country accounting for many trophy fish. Ideal fished static with fine tippet either sunken or on the surface. If fishing on the surface use a drop of Snowbee Ogden’s Fly & Tippet Sinkant (STFS) on the tippet for better success on spooky fish.
